China Sets a Global Benchmark by Resurfacing 158 km of Highway Using Only Robots and Drones

China has achieved a groundbreaking feat by resurfacing a 158-kilometer stretch of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway using drones and autonomous robots. This technology eliminated the need for smaller rollers traditionally used for edge trimming, allowing the road surface to be laid seamlessly in a single pass, enhancing both quality and efficiency.
